1180 Peachtree has won numerous regional and national awards for its architectural significance, its LEED Certification and focus on green building principles, and its economic impact on Midtown Atlanta. It sold in October 2006 for $407/square foot – still the highest price per square foot ever paid for a large Class A commercial multi-tenant office building in the southeast. 1180 was the recipient of several awards including NAIOP’s 2006 “Green Development Award,” the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2001 “Land Deal of the Year,” and 2004 “Design of the Year,” and the AIA’s “Best Building of the Decade.” It is also one the first buildings in the southeast to attain LEED Gold – CA Certification.
